A California doctor is warning patients not to panic after her husband was diagnosed with breast cancer.
But when she started seeing him, she was scared and confused.
She said her husband’s doctors told her he couldn’t have children.
She thought that was strange and didn’t know how to deal with it.
“He was told it would be better for him to die.
I thought, what can I do?” she said.
He has had two rounds of chemotherapy and two rounds in the hospital.
She said she doesn’t know what to expect when she sees him again.
“My husband is not going to be able to be a dad.
I don’t know if he will be able come back,” she said in a Facebook Live video posted to her Facebook page.
The patient is now in hospice care.
She says her husband is also struggling with a heart condition and has no access to a pacemaker.
The family says the doctor was able to treat her husband with a variety of treatments.
The ABC has reached out to the hospital for comment.
