Internal Medicine Yale University’s faculty has created a web app that helps users compare the performance of medical schools across the United States.
The app uses anonymized data and anonymized patient data to rank medical schools based on their rankings on patient outcomes.
The rankings are based on patient-reported outcomes such as hospitalization rates, hospital admissions, mortality, and length of stay.
The site is now live in the App Store and Google Play.
The new app uses data from the Mayo Clinic and other sources, including the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.
In addition to medical school rankings, the app also includes rankings of top universities for faculty recruitment and retention, hospitalization data, and a list of U.S. colleges and universities with the highest proportion of medical students.
